How Was Your Senior Year In High School Any Tips For Me?

Hey, i’ll be a senior this year in high school and i’m really worried. It’s my last year as a Minor and after this I have only a vague idea of what my life is going to be like. Does anyone have tips for me to deal with this year. I’m applying to college and want to major in mechanical or aerospace engineering.

I loved my Senior Year. It was fun to be at the top of the school, to know all the teachers so well, and have a wide variety of friends.
As for applying to college, some things they look for are that you’re well-rounded. They’ll want to see a good math background if you want to go into engineering, but they’ll also want to see that you were involved with (1) something creative-like music, drama, sports, art, woodshop, etc., and (2) something showing leadership-like president of a club, or student body, or on a dance committee, and (3) something involved with service-Big Brothers Big Sisters, or helping coach a kid’s sports team, or cleaning up a park, or donating toys for a Sub for Santa program. Those 3 things are the extra “oomph” that get you noticed on a college application.
Above all, have fun-you’ll only have one senior year (hopefully, ha ha) and the memories you make this year will last a long time.
well.. my sister just graduated in 2007 and her senior year was the best (what she told me) she was on a work study program and she only went to school for an hour and went to work. how cool is that?!?!?! well good luck!! youll be fine, I am a freshmen now! I was pretty nervous!
