This Question From Online Security | 4 Answers
I wish to buy a T-Mobile Sidekick online, and they require credit approval which requires you submitting your social security number.
Even though it says: “100% Secure
Encryption of personal information, powered by VeriSign®”, can you really trust that?
I’m kind of scared of entering my SSN online, seeing as that information is sensitive.

DONT YOU EVER THINK OF DOING THAT!
Its probably a hacker, who will use your SS# to steal money from you.
U could end up having to pay tons of bills!
Usually they should only ask for the last digits. This is strange.
don’t know any reason they need your ssn for buying something.
