I really like playing the sims 3, but i have no ideas left for families! 1 to 5 people please! I don’t like sims made after famous people, i really like pre-made families though, but i also like creating my own family! Please answer this question as soon as you can!

    make a single mom and a single dad (they fall in love and get married) each with a teenage child who have totally opposite personalities then if you chose a guy and a girl try to make them fall in love or if you choose two girls/two guys just mess with them lol

    one thing i figured out, when you create a new sim, choose wild personality traits… you will then be given 5 different choices for lifetime wish depending on the traits you have chosen…. i had one sim that wanted to raise 5 babies to teenagers…. holy crap that is hard!
    also, if you choose the romantic traits: commitment issues, great kisser, schmoozer, charismatic… (cant remember the 5th one i chose), you will get the option for lifetime wish of Heartbreaker… that was hilarious, his wish was to be the boyfriend of 10 sims…. i made him woohoo with several women, ask them all out, and break up with them almost immediately after woohoo, THAT was fun! haha.. please note that you cannot have more than one girlfriend at once. you must break up with one sim before you can propose going steady with another.

    Have you already played around with all the personality traits? I’m still messing with them, but neurotic is hilarious. They become so OCD. :P
    You could create a Sim or a family and then ruin their lives. Either make a mean Sim and have them live a miserable life or make people who should theoretically succeed in life and wreck havoc on them. You could also create a Sim who loves the outdoors and only makes money by collecting insects, rocks, and gems. You could make an insane musician and just see what happens.
    Or there’s always the random button in Create a Sim.

    why don’t you try making your family, and a replica of your home. you could make your parents crazy, if you wanted, or you could make it exactly like your life. hope this helps!

    make an insane dad and a mom with completely contradicting perks(loner and maybe hates the outdoors or sociable)

    dad: clumsy
    mom: umm.. I dunno up to you
    daugter: genious
    son: evil
    and so on
