   they don’t really do a lot besides eat and sleep at this age. but if the baby is awake then just talk to the baby and shake a rattle in front of him/her or even sit him/her in front of the tv in his/her bouncy seat with some cartoons!

   The baby will mostly be sleeping and the baby needs to be fed about every 4 hours. You need to know how to prepare a bottle and CPR. When the baby goes to sleep don’t put a blanket on him and remove toys that may be in there (SIDS). Remember its a newborn you need to be very fragile and let him/her sleep. Good Luck newborns are alot of fun! Don’t be afraid to ask the parents questions!

   make sure you burp after feedings or he will be very cranky!

   but be sure you know how
   to change his/her nappy!!

   let them play with a toy or somthing.

   Let them sleep as long as they want and keep a bottle ready. Be prepared to hold them a lot. Show no fear because babies somehow can pick up on that..weird but true.
